かのように means something appears or behaves as if it were true, although it may not be.

It is often used to describe appearance, attitude, or atmosphere.

彼はすべてを知っているかのように話した。

He spoke as if he knew everything.

Do not treat it as a factual statement; it is comparison or appearance.

It may not be true, but it looks that way: かのように.
