Explanation

からと言って means one cannot draw the following conclusion merely because of the preceding reason.

Usage

It is often followed by a negative or limitation.

Example

値段が高いからと言って、必ず品質がいいとは限らない。

Just because the price is high does not mean the quality is always good.

Common Mistake

Do not use it as an ordinary reason; it rejects overgeneralization.
