plain form + から

から directly states a reason, followed by the speaker's judgment, decision, or result.

It is more conversational and direct than ので.

お腹がすいたから、何か食べたいです。

I'm hungry, so I want to eat something.

In formal apologies or requests, direct から can be less soft than ので.

から is the common direct 'because.'
