i-adjective语干 + かれ + i-adjective语干 + かれ

Explanation

かれ~かれ pairs adjective stems to show that something holds regardless of degree.

Usage

It appears in set expressions like 多かれ少なかれ and 早かれ遅かれ.

Example

新しい制度には、多かれ少なかれ混乱が伴うものだ。

A new system always involves more or less confusion.
