疑问词/plain form + か

か can embed a question inside a sentence, forming whether/what/when clauses.

It often appears with verbs like 分かる, 知っている, and 教える.

会議が何時に始まるか知っていますか。

Do you know what time the meeting starts?

Inside embedded questions, polite ます forms are usually not used.

Put the small question inside a larger sentence and close it with か.
