Explanation

くせに strongly criticizes a contradiction and carries blame or dissatisfaction.

Usage

It sounds harsh when used about people, so use carefully.

Example

知っているくせに、何も教えてくれませんでした。

Even though he knew, he did not tell me anything.

Common Mistake

For neutral contrast, use のに.
