さらに + 句子 / さらに + adjective・副词

Adds information on top of what has already been stated, or shows that a degree increases further.

Common in organized explanations, reports, and presentations, and also usable in everyday explanations.

新しいアプリは検索が速く、さらに例文も音声で確認できる。

The new app searches quickly, and furthermore lets you check example sentences with audio.

Do not confuse it with それから for simple sequence; さらに emphasizes addition or increase.

One layer is already there; adding another layer is さらに.
