noun/na-adjective + じゃありません

じゃありません is the conversational form of ではありません. It negates noun and na-adjective sentences.

Use ではありません in formal writing or with strangers; じゃありません is natural in daily conversation.

あの人は私の先生じゃありません。

That person is not my teacher.

Do not stack negatives like じゃないですありません. One negative form is enough.

In speech, では often contracts to じゃ.
