それにしても + 句子

Explanation

After acknowledging the previous situation, shifts to surprise, reflection, or another evaluation.

Usage

Often used in conversation to shift to the speaker's reaction.

Example

道に迷ったとはいえ、それにしても到着が遅すぎる。

Even if they got lost, they are still far too late.

Common Mistake

Do not use it as a simple additive connector; it often evaluates with 'even so.'
