たり〜たりする lists representative actions, not a complete list.

Each listed action takes the た-form plus り.

休みの日は掃除をしたり、買い物をしたりします。

On days off, I do things like clean and shop.

Do not add たり only to the final action.

Memorize “たり〜たり” as one fixed chunk, then practice by replacing words in the example sentence. Learn the connection first, then the nuance.
