Explanation

だけのことはある says the result matches the value, effort, reputation, or status mentioned before.

Usage

It is often positive, but can also explain why a high price or difficulty is justified.

Example

この店は高いだけのことはあって、料理もサービスも素晴らしい。

This restaurant is expensive for a reason; both the food and service are excellent.

Common Mistake

Do not confuse it with limiting だけ; this pattern evaluates that something is worth it.
