Explanation

Shows that since the first event occurred, the following state has clearly changed and continued until now.

Usage

The following clause is often a habit, state, feeling, or life change.

Example

朝に復習する習慣を始めてからというもの、忘れる量が明らかに減った。

Ever since I started reviewing in the morning, the amount I forget has clearly decreased.

Common Mistake

Do not use it with a one-time following event; it emphasizes continuing change.
