te-form verb + から / ta-form verb + あとで

てから emphasizes doing the second action after completing the first; あとで more simply states temporal order.

Use noun + のあとで for nouns and た-form + あとで for verbs.

宿題をしてから、ゲームをします。

I will play games after finishing my homework.

Do not say するあとで; use the た-form before あとで.
