Structure

te-form verb + でも

Explanation

Shows willingness to use the first means in order to achieve a goal.

Usage

Common with strong desire, determination, or necessity.

Example

多少無理をしてでも、この機会を逃したくない。

Even if I have to push myself a little, I do not want to miss this opportunity.

Common Mistake

Do not use it for ordinary means; it has a strong 'even if it means doing so' nuance.
