te-form verb + みせる

Shows actually doing something for someone to see, or expressing strong determination to achieve it.

The determination use often carries challenge, promise, or refusal to give up.

次の試験では必ず満点を取ってみせる。

On the next exam, I will definitely get a perfect score.

Do not confuse it with てみる meaning 'try'; てみせる emphasizes showing or determination.

It is not 'try and see'; it is 'I will do it and show you.'
