plain form + でしょう

でしょう is a polite conjecture, and with rising intonation it can ask for confirmation.

It is common for weather, forecasts, and explanations; the plain counterpart is だろう.

この問題は少し難しいでしょう。

This problem is probably a little difficult.

Do not add だ after an i-adjective before でしょう; say 寒いでしょう.

でしょう is more polite than だろう.
