N1 · Condition · 句子plain form / noun + とあれば

if it is for; if it means

Structure

句子plain form / noun + とあれば

Explanation

Example

学生の成長のためとあれば、多少時間がかかっても丁寧に説明したい。

If it is for the students' growth, I want to explain carefully even if it takes some time.

Common Mistake

Do not treat it as exactly the same as ordinary なら; it carries 'if it is such a special case.'

Memory Tip

The condition matters, so one is willing to change the usual approach.
