Expresses a wish, suggestion, or hope that something will happen.

といい tends toward wishes and suggestions; たらいい is also common for giving advice.

分からないことがあったら、先生に聞いたらいいよ。

If there is something you do not understand, you should ask the teacher.

When advising a superior, be careful with tone; いかがでしょうか may be more polite.

Gently present the desirable action or result.
