Explanation

としても means even if the first point is admitted, the following point still holds.

Usage

It can be used for concession and supposition.

Example

値段が安いとしても、必要のない物は買いません。

Even if the price is low, I do not buy things I do not need.

Common Mistake

I-adjectives attach directly before としても; do not add だ.

Memorize “noun + としても” as one fixed chunk, then practice by replacing words in the example sentence. Learn the connection first, then the nuance.
