Meaning

not even one; not at all

Structure

数量词 + として + 否定 / 疑问词 + として + 否定

Explanation

Used with a negative form to emphasize that there is zero exception or none at all.

Usage

Common forms include 一人として~ない and 誰一人として~ない.

Example

その説明に納得した学生は、一人としていなかった。

Not a single student was satisfied with that explanation.

Common Mistake

Do not confuse it with として meaning 'as'; here it means there is not even one exception.
