Explanation

Usage

Old-fashioned and written, often used in formal writing or fixed expressions.

Example

ベテランとて、準備なしに難しい質問へ答えられるわけではない。

Even veterans cannot answer difficult questions without preparation.

Common Mistake

Do not use it in casual conversation; it is more formal and literary than でも.
