masu-stem verb + ながら

ながら means one person does two actions at the same time; the later action is usually the main one.

It attaches to the verb stem, as in 聞きながら.

音楽を聞きながら、宿題をします。

I do homework while listening to music.

The subject of both actions is usually the same; it is not for two different people doing separate actions.

Learn ながら as 'while doing...'
