など follows examples and means 'and so on' or 'things like.'

It keeps the list open, but overuse can make writing vague.

会議では予算や日程などを話し合いました。

At the meeting, we discussed the budget, schedule, and so on.

Do not add など after a complete list unless you mean there are other items.

など is 'etc.' after examples.
