Explanation

Lists two examples of the same type and shows that the following statement applies in either case.

Usage

Common when listing different choices, positions, or situations and making a shared judgment.

Example

進学するにしても就職するにしても、早めに準備を始めるべきだ。

Whether you continue school or start working, you should begin preparing early.

Common Mistake

Do not list only one item; this pattern needs two parallel examples.
