noun + について

Marks the topic of talking, thinking, researching, explaining, and similar actions.

More common and neutral than に関して. Before a noun, use についての + noun.

来週の発表では、日本の食文化について話すつもりです。

In next week's presentation, I plan to talk about Japanese food culture.

When modifying a noun, do not say について資料; say についての資料.

Circle the topic and say 'about this.'
