のが下手

Explanation

のが下手 nominalizes an action and says the person is not good at doing it.

Usage

It follows the dictionary form of a verb.

Example

私は漢字を覚えるのが下手です。

I am bad at memorizing kanji.

Common Mistake

Do not say 覚えのが下手; use the dictionary form 覚える.

Verb + の turns the action into something you can evaluate.
