plain form + ので

ので follows a clause and gives a reason in a softer, more objective tone.

Use なので after nouns and na-adjectives; use ので after plain verbs and i-adjectives.

雨が降っているので、家にいます。

It is raining, so I will stay home.

Do not say 静かので for a na-adjective. Say 静かなので.

ので feels softer and more explanatory than から.
