Explanation

わりに means that considering the preceding degree or situation, the result is unexpected.

Usage

It often evaluates something as more/less than expected.

Example

値段が安いわりに、この料理はおいしいです。

Considering the low price, this dish is good.

Common Mistake

Do not fully confuse it with にしては; わりに often follows degree or state.
