ばいい gives advice or a solution, meaning “it is enough if you do this.”

It can sound direct, so use a softer expression when advising a superior.

分からないことがあれば、先生に聞けばいい。

If there is something you do not understand, you should ask the teacher.

Do not confuse it with regretful ばよかった; ばいい gives a current or future solution.

When there is a problem, ばいい gives a “just do this” solution.
