ぶり describes the manner or style in which an action, attitude, or state appears.

It appears in words like 話しぶり, 働きぶり, and 混雑ぶり.

新人とは思えない落ち着いた話しぶりだった。

His calm way of speaking made it hard to believe he was new.

Do not confuse it with ぶりに, which expresses a time gap.

Use ぶり for manner, and ぶりに for a time gap.
