Explanation

まだしも means the first case might be acceptable, but the following case is not.

Usage

It often appears as Aならまだしも, B....

Example

一日遅れるならまだしも、一週間も連絡がないのは困る。

Being a day late might be acceptable, but no contact for a week is a problem.

Common Mistake

Do not interpret it alone; read it with the contrast structure.
