までだ means there is no other choice, or that the matter is limited to the preceding action.

It is often used for determination or a calm conclusion.

もし反対されても、もう一度説明するまでだ。

Even if they object, I will simply explain it once more.

Do not confuse it with endpoint まで; here it means “that is all.”

No other option; just do this.
