もさることながら means the first point is important, but the second is also or even more noteworthy.

It is common in formal evaluation and description.

This product is highly valued not only for performance but also for ease of use.

Do not make the second part unrelated; both should evaluate the same object.

A is certainly good; B also deserves emphasis.
