Meaning

not at all; not even a little

Structure

少しも + nai-form verb / i-adjectiveくない / na-adjectiveではない

Explanation

Used with a negative form to emphasize that the degree is completely zero.

Usage

Common with feelings, understanding, change, worry, and similar states.

Example

説明を聞いたが、内容は少しも理解できなかった。

I listened to the explanation, but I could not understand the content at all.

Common Mistake

It must be followed by a negative form; do not pair it with an affirmative sentence.
