ta-form verb / noun + の + 結果

Shows the result obtained after an action, investigation, discussion, or process. It emphasizes the conclusion more than a simple 'after.'

Common in objective statements such as reports, decisions, and investigation results.

何度も話し合った結果、計画を延期することにした。

After discussing it many times, we decided to postpone the plan.

Do not treat 結果 only as an ordinary noun; as a grammar pattern it often follows a past verb or noun + の.

After the process is complete, 結果 is what comes out.
