逆に + 句子

逆に means conversely, from the opposite side, or contrary to expectation.

It is common in speech and can also mark a logical turn in writing.

説明を短くしたら、逆に分かりやすくなった。

When the explanation was shortened, it actually became easier to understand.

Do not use it as filler; there should be a real opposite relation.

When the direction reverses, use 逆に.
