masu-form verb去ます + 通す

Shows that an action continues from beginning to end, often with a sense of persistence.

Common in phrases such as やり通す, 読み通す, and 走り通す.

大変だったが、最後まで自分の考えを言い通した。

It was difficult, but I kept stating my opinion to the end.

Do not attach it to the te-form; attach it to the masu-stem.

Passing from start to finish is 通す.
